Summer Yoga
Thank you for a great summer - my classes are over for the season; I hope to see you in 2023!y clarover for the season.

First and foremost, I am looking forward to seeing you this summer, live and in-person!  I am fully vaccinated & fully boostered and believe that we all need to do our part to keep each other safe and healthy.
Preservation Hall          Fridays at 9am.
Beginning on June 24.
Classes are 75 minutes and are drop-in once again, with no pre-registration necessary!  Please bring your own mat if you have one. Mask use is optional.  The Hall has a brand new super-duper air filtration system and we will play things a bit by ear, regarding air conditioning vs. leaving the door open.

Yoga on the Beach       Tuesdays & Thursdays at 8:30am.

Beginning on June 28.
Please enter Mayo beach via the left-hand side of the Mayo parking area and walk to the left, behind the basketball courts. Classes are drop-in, with no pre-registration necessary!
Bring a towel or a mat and some water.
Classes begin at 8:30am and run 75 minutes.
*Please arrive with enough time to sign in and pay before class begins.
My classes are are not power-yoga vinyasa classes.  They are suitable for all levels of experience and all bodies. We begin with centering, warm-ups, asanas and time for self-reflection.  You will gain strength and flexibility but it is not a gym-like workout.  My students leave class feeling peaceful and refreshed.
Yoga on the beach is an amazing ever-changing setting. Each class is truly unique!
Pricing:  $18 for a 75-minute class.
If you would like to purchase a "class-pass" for $75 (only $15 each for 5 classes), you can get one from me before class.
Valid for Prez Hall and beach classes.
Proceeds from my classes go to the Mother Miracle School in Rishikesh, India.  I have visited the school personally and know that our dollars are changing the lives of many youngsters by taking them out of the cycle of poverty. If you would like more information about the school, please let me know.
As always, I am available for private one-on-one or small group classes. If you have a yard or patio and would like to host a small class, please let me know -- I am happy to lead pop-up classes in and around Wellfleet.
I am also available for private life-coaching sessions.  Please see my website for details about how I can help you through a transition!
Thank you for coming to my site.  You can also follow me and get yoga updates on my Facebook page (Della Spring).

What kind of yoga classes will they be?

I teach Kripalu Yoga, which is a specific style of Hatha yoga that employs a compassionate approach with an emphasis on meditation, physical healing and spiritual transformation. My classes begin with breathing exercises and gentle stretches, followed by a series of poses. We will end with a brief relaxation and meditation session.

Kripalu Yoga is intended as a holistic practice and uses the life-force energy called Prana to heal, rejuvenate and allow students to discover their own spiritual path. I am also certified to teach Yin Yoga and incorporate it into my classes when appropriate.

For more information or questions/concerns about poses: (781) 789-8725.

What materials do I need?

Beach: Bring a towel! (There is ample free parking and a bike rack).

Prez Hall: Mats are available to borrow for free!

Many students ask me for the affirmation that I read at the end of each class, so I've posted it here:

I am infinite, eternal, and whole.

I embrace the fullness of life.

I let go of my attachments

And I appreciate everything that I have.

More about me:

I received my original teacher training at Kripalu Center for Yoga and meditation in Lenox, MA. I have earned advanced training certifications from around the globe, logging more than 700 hours (and counting!), including special interest training in Yin Yoga, the Bhagavad Gita, meditation, and fascia/anatomy studies.

I have been teaching yoga in Wellfleet since 2013, both at Wellfleet Preservation Hall and at Quiet Mind Studio. Additionally, every year since 2014, I have obtained special permission from the Wellfleet Board of Selectmen to teach yoga on Mayo Beach, which is located across from the Town Recreation Department.

You can also treat yourself to private, semi-private, or group yoga classes with me; an investment in your health, your happiness, and your spirit!
