What is coaching?

Coaching is a co-creative relationship between a qualified coach, an individual, or team that:

+helps people clarify and prioritize goals so that achievements may be attained quickly and efficiently.

+challenges clients to consider alternate possibilities and think outside of the box in order to accomplish objectives

+focuses clients to get the most effective and best results

+supplies clients with the tools, structure and support they need to realize their objectives

Life coaching sessions support clients in developing effective change strategies and solutions to create success personally and professionally.


What does coaching do?

+Identify, clarify and prioritize core values and challenges

+Clarify and prioritize action items that will lead to achieving desired objectives

+Sets up a structure, accountability and support system to help achieve success


How does coaching differ from consulting?


There are many similarities between consulting and coaching. Consultants design, develop and implement solutions. Coaches help their clients discover their own personal best solution.  They then support the client as he or she develops and implements their goals.  It is a collaborative process with the client's happiness as the priority and main focal point.


How does coaching differ from therapy?

Coaching is not therapy. Coaching helps you move forward and set personal and professional goals that will give you the life you really want. It is action and goal oriented. Therapy discusses how and why this behavior has developed and how it has prevented you from achieving the success you desire.  Ultimately,  it too will help you achieve different outcomes. Therapy focuses on the past in order to move you ahead.  Coaching focuses on the present.


How and where do sessions take place?


+one-to-one sessions take place via phone, Skype or FaceTime and last 55 minutes

+group coaching sessions take place on a phone bridge. These sessions last 75 minutes

+international sessions take place via Skype, WhatsApp or FaceTime and last 55 minutes


Additional communication takes place via email at no extra charge.


What type of commitment is required for coaching?


Most coaches suggest a 3 to 6 month commitment for individual coaching, with weekly sessions. However, there is no hard and fast rule. Corporate client commitments are as per the terms of their contract. Many of my clients agree that 12 session is about the right number, but it is an individual decision.  You will never be penalized for unfinished sessions or for stretching out your sessions to once every other week or once a month if you feel that best suits your needs.


Can I hire a coach for short term?


Absolutely! Many people hire a coach to achieve short-term goals, especially if they have been coached in the past.


How much does coaching cost?


An investment of $125 for a single session or $300 for a package of three sessions.  Group and corporate rates vary.  Please contact me for pricing.


How do I pay for coaching?


I accept PayPal and Venmo.  Sessions must be paid in advance.
